Dr. Adriana Ogando is, without a doubt, one of the most exceptional veterinarians I have ever had the privilege of meeting. Her level of professionalism, compassion, dedication, and genuine love for animals is truly extraordinary.
From the very first appointment, it was clear that Dr. Ogando is not simply a veterinarian who treats patients — she truly cares for them. She takes the time to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, examine every detail, and make sure that both the pet and the owner feel heard, respected, and completely cared for. Her availability and willingness to be present and attentive are also something I deeply appreciate. She gives her patients the time and attention they deserve, and you never feel like you are simply another appointment on a schedule. Her commitment to her patients is evident in every interaction.
Dr. Ogando has an incredibly gentle manner, tremendous patience, and a beautiful ability to make both animals and their owners feel safe. The veterinarians and staff at this practice are so attentive. Our dogs easily receive the best follow-up medical care of any of our family members (including the humans).
When we first moved to the area, our dog, Moose, had a flare of what turned out to be chronic pancreatitis. Dr. Mallela saw Moose quickly, advised us clearly on treatment, and followed up with us after the appointment to make sure that Moose was doing okay. We were very anxious because we had not established a primary vet yet, but that experience made the choice to use Animal Place clear.
I genuinely don’t understand how this veterinary office is still in business. The level of care and professionalism here is completely unacceptable and, in my opinion, raises serious concerns about whether this place should even be operating.
The technicians, receptionist, and manager were all incredibly unprofessional, dismissive, and lacking in compassion. They did not come across as knowledgeable or skilled, and I would not trust them to properly care for my pets. Honestly, they would be better off working at Walmart than working in a veterinary office where people are trusting them with the lives of their animals.
The facility itself was also dirty and poorly maintained, which only added to my concerns about the quality of care being provided. The entire experience made it feel like this place is more interested in taking people’s money than actually providing competent, compassionate veterinary care.
Pet owners put an enormous amount of trust in veterinary professionals, and this office completely failed to earn mine. I would strongly advise people to take their pets somewhere else. I would never bring my animals here again, and I genuinely believe this place needs serious oversight and major changes before it should be trusted with people’s pets.
