Marymont Animal Hospital

Professional and friendly. Ample parking.

Great staff, very caring. Have been talking pets here for years and always feel like they are being well cared for.

My family has taken generations of dogs and cats to this vet clinic for years.

I have been taking my pets to this facility for over 10 years now. Dr.Meyer and Dr.Martini are very honest, helpful & genuinely love their job. Their staff are also very friendly and incredibly helpful. I would recommend anyone to bring their pets here. They treat them like family. Grateful for them all.

Update: Dr Meyer himself reached out to us to hear our concerns and work with us to get our dog the medication she needs. But, as I put in my original review, the vets themselves are amazing. Dr. Meyer said that he would write the prescription and we could come pick it up the next day. When my husband went to pick it up, the front desk staff **still** refused to give it to us telling my husband that the vet obviously wrote it incorrectly. I had to call up there again and insist that she talk to the vet directly. Later that afternoon she called us back to let us know that the vet had approved us to pick up the prescription so my husband headed up there yet again to get it. I will note that she never apologized for the situation. I'm updating from 1 star to 3 stars only because of Dr Meyer and Dr Martini. If I were to rate this based on the front desk staff, it would still be a 1 star review. Original: The vets themselves are very nice & easy to work with every time we've been up there. It's the other staff that is the problem. I called up there after my dog's heartworm results came in asking for a prescription to mail off since they refuse to deal with Chewy (which is fine). I was told on three separate occasions that the vet was too busy to write it and to call back a different day. I had extra doses left over from the previous prescription so it was fine but I called up there a fourth time for the staff to tell me all kinds of different things like that they can't give me a prescription to mail off. Then it was oh well they can but they can only give it for 10 months now because I didn't come up there to get the prescription right away (even though they kept blowing me off). She goes on this whole rant about how they can't give me the prescription because if my dog has heartworms giving her the pills would kill her even though my dog has a very recent negative heartworm test and has been on heartworm protection before and after the test. I understand that can be an issue, however, my dog has had heartworm coverage the entire time. I've literally just been waiting for them to write me the prescription so I can mail it off and I keep getting the runaround. I mentioned that this makes me consider not using their practice anymore because they're making it so difficult, especially when I asked to speak to the vet and they refused. Finally my husband just went up there thinking that maybe it's just me and this one person's personality conflicting. He's the calm gets along with everybody type and figured he would just handle it. They were rude to him the second he walked in the door and told him that he could not speak to the vet, that they refused to give us the prescription even for a few months, and they tried to refuse to give us our pets records. I don't recommend this place with that staff attitude.
